NCT ID NCT05873205

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This phase 2 trial tests whether isatuximab can help people whose blood cell counts stay low after a stem cell transplant for blood cancer. The study enrolls 12 adults whose disease is in remission but who have developed immune-related blood cell deficiencies. Participants receive isatuximab intravenously, and researchers will measure how many respond to treatment.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

isatuximab (a drug given intravenously)

What this could lead to

If it works, this could offer a new treatment option for people whose blood cell counts drop dangerously low after a stem cell transplant.

What could go wrong

This is a very small, early-phase trial with only 12 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The drug may not work or could cause side effects.
