Summary

This study tests whether adding the drug isatuximab to a standard three-drug combination (bortezomib, lenalidomide, and dexamethasone) can help people with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma live longer without their cancer getting worse. The trial includes about 475 adults aged 65 or older (or younger adults with health issues) who are not eligible for a stem cell transplant. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either the four-drug or the three-drug regimen, and researchers track how long the cancer stays under control, quality of life, and side effects.
