First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether a new eye drop called IRX-101 can reduce pain and surface damage to the cornea after anti-VEGF injections for retinal disease. About 240 adults who receive these injections will be randomly assigned to get either IRX-101 or the standard iodine solution before their injection. The goal is to see if IRX-101 makes the procedure more comfortable and gentler on the eye.
