New eye drop aims to take the sting out of retina shots

Summary
This study tests whether a new eye drop called IRX-101 can reduce pain and eye surface damage after anti-VEGF injections for retinal disease. About 240 adults who get these injections will receive either IRX-101 or standard povidone-iodine drops before the injection. The goal is to see if IRX-101 makes the procedure more comfortable and causes less irritation to the front of the eye.
