Iron boost may ease heart failure symptoms, new trial hopes

Summary

This study looks at whether giving iron through a vein (Ferinject®) can improve quality of life and walking ability in people with a type of heart failure called HFpEF who also have low iron. About 100 hospitalized adults will receive either iron or standard care. The goal is to see if the treatment helps them feel better and walk farther after 6 minutes.
