New eye scan could spot dangerous iris tumors sooner

NCT ID NCT03809585

Summary

This study is testing a new type of eye scan called OCT angiography to see if it can better tell harmless iris tumors apart from cancerous ones. Researchers will compare the new scan results to the current standard method in 100 people, including those with iris tumors and healthy volunteers. The goal is to improve diagnosis and help doctors decide the best course of action for patients.
