First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests whether using more sensitive imaging methods based on a person's individual risk can detect breast cancer recurrences earlier than standard mammograms. It will include 2,300 women who had breast-conserving surgery and are at higher risk of recurrence. The goal is to see if personalized follow-up leads to better outcomes, like earlier detection and improved survival.
