Can better training help stop family violence in veteran homes?

NCT ID NCT05490004

Summary

This study tested two ways to train healthcare and social service providers to better recognize and respond to intimate partner violence and child maltreatment affecting veterans and their families. Researchers compared a self-guided online course with a live, instructor-led workshop to see which approach was more practical and acceptable for providers. The goal was to gather information to design a larger future study that could improve how providers support military families experiencing violence.
