Summary
This study is testing two different counseling approaches to help veterans who have experienced intimate partner violence in the past year. One approach involves up to 8 sessions focusing on building strength and empowerment, while the other is a single educational session about safety and resources. Researchers want to see which approach better helps veterans feel more confident and improves their mental health and quality of life.
