First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests a new injection called IPN10200 for moderate to severe upper facial lines, like frown lines and forehead wrinkles. About 727 adults aged 18 to 65 will receive either the injection or a placebo. The goal is to see if it safely reduces wrinkles better than a dummy treatment.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

IPN10200 (a botulinum toxin type A injection)

What this could lead to

If it works, this could provide a new option for reducing frown lines, forehead wrinkles, and crow's feet.

What could go wrong

This is an early-stage trial, so the treatment may not work better than placebo or existing options. Side effects like bruising, pain, or temporary muscle weakness are possible.
