Looking back to guide the future: study reviews 10 years of pancreatic tumor surgeries

NCT ID NCT07216521

Summary

This study is looking back at the medical records of 2000 people who had surgery for a type of pancreatic tumor called IPMN. Researchers want to understand why surgery was chosen and what the outcomes were. The goal is to find better ways to decide who needs surgery in the future to catch cancer early and avoid unnecessary operations.
