Summary

This study tests an experimental drug called ABBV-142 for people with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a rare lung disease that causes scarring and makes breathing hard. About 165 adults will receive either the drug or a placebo for 52 weeks to see if it safely slows lung function loss. The goal is to find a new treatment that helps control the disease.
