Massive study launches to track 3000 patients with scarred lungs

Summary
This is a long-term observational study, or registry, that aims to collect detailed information from 3000 people diagnosed with progressive lung scarring diseases, including Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). The goal is to understand how these diseases naturally progress, how they affect people's daily lives, and what treatments are used. Participants will provide health information, answer quality-of-life surveys, and may give blood samples and chest scans for future research over several years.
