New heart stent trial aims to keep arteries open longer
NCT ID NCT06071702
Summary
This early study is testing a new type of drug-coated stent called IoNIR to see if it is safe and effective at keeping heart arteries open after a procedure to clear blockages. It will involve about 30 patients with coronary artery disease who need a stent. Researchers will track how well the stent works and if any problems occur over 13 months.
