Summary
This study tests whether giving breastfeeding mothers a daily iodine-containing multivitamin for 6 months improves their babies' brain development and thyroid health. Researchers will compare 600 mothers and infants in Ethiopia who receive the supplement or standard care. The goal is to see if the supplement helps infants in areas with mild iodine deficiency.
