First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study is testing a special radioactive tracer called I-124 evuzumitide to see if it can improve diagnosis of cardiac amyloidosis, a condition where abnormal proteins build up in the heart. About 150 adults with known or suspected amyloidosis will get a PET/MRI scan after receiving the tracer. Researchers will compare the scan results to standard diagnosis methods to measure accuracy.
