First seen Jan 30, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tested an eye drop called INV-102 in 19 adults with diabetic macular edema, a condition where fluid builds up in the retina and can blur vision. The goal was to see if the drops could reduce retinal swelling and improve eye health over 8 to 12 weeks. The treatment is not a cure, but aims to control the disease and prevent vision from getting worse.
