First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 03, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study aims to understand how the nasal spray flu vaccine works by looking at immune cells in the tonsils and adenoids. Researchers will give the vaccine to 25 children and adults who are already scheduled to have their tonsils or adenoids removed for sleep apnea. By studying the removed tissue, they hope to learn more about how the body builds immunity in the nose and throat.
