NCT ID NCT06304441

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a chemotherapy drug (pemetrexed) directly into the spinal fluid to a standard targeted therapy pill (like osimertinib) works better than the pill alone for people with a specific type of lung cancer that has spread to the lining of the brain or spinal cord. About 100 adults aged 18-75 with EGFR-mutant non-small cell lung cancer and confirmed leptomeningeal metastasis will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the combination improves response and survival while monitoring side effects.
