New stroke treatment targets medium blockages with direct drug delivery
NCT ID NCT07302854
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether giving a clot-busting drug directly into the brain's arteries can help people having a stroke from a medium-sized blockage. About 382 adults who have had a stroke within the last 24 hours will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or standard care. The goal is to see if this approach leads to better recovery and less disability.
