First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a simple, painless ultrasound of the intestines can predict when Crohn's disease will come back in patients who are currently in deep remission. Researchers will follow 420 adults for 18 months to see who relapses and compare their ultrasound results. The goal is to find a safer, cheaper way to monitor the disease long-term.
