Can more online coaching help people lose weight?

Summary

This study is testing a revised version of an internet-based weight management program called 'Step by Step.' It aims to see if getting more support from a therapist through online or in-person meetings leads to better weight loss, improved quality of life, and healthier habits compared to doing the program mostly on your own. The study will enroll 100 adults with obesity or who are overweight with certain other health conditions. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either high or low levels of therapist contact over 12 months.
