New device shows promise for healing diabetic foot wounds

Summary

This study is testing a device called FlowOx that uses gentle suction (intermittent negative pressure) to improve blood flow and heal wounds in people with diabetic foot ulcers. About 30 participants will use the device for one hour, twice a day for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if this treatment can increase toe blood pressure and reduce wound size.
