Summary
This study collected eye images from 1,000 people with intermediate age-related macular degeneration (AMD) to build a database. The goal was to find imaging markers that can predict if and when the disease will progress to a more advanced stage with vision loss. Researchers will use this data to develop predictive models, but the study itself did not test any treatment.
