Major trial tests aggressive 2-Year plan to tackle severe obesity

Summary
This study is testing whether a comprehensive, 2-year weight loss program works better than standard care for adults with severe obesity and related health problems. The intensive program includes meal replacements, behavioral coaching, and weight-loss medication, and is compared to the usual weight management services available in Denmark and the UK. Researchers will measure changes in weight, metabolic health, and quality of life in 600 participants.
