First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving new mothers with pregnancy-related high blood pressure more intensive treatment right after delivery can improve their long-term heart health. Researchers will enroll 60 women and follow them for 12 months to see if this approach is feasible and reduces the risk of chronic hypertension. The goal is to prevent future heart disease by reversing blood vessel damage caused by hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.
