Can pushing cholesterol lower stop young hearts from clogging?

Summary
This study is testing if very intensive cholesterol-lowering treatment is better than standard treatment at slowing the progression of fatty plaque buildup in the heart arteries of younger and middle-aged adults with stable heart disease. About 766 participants, aged 18-60, will be randomly assigned to receive either the intensive or standard cholesterol treatment. Researchers will use detailed heart scans to measure changes in the plaque over time to see which approach works better.
