New trial aims to stop bipolar depression before it worsens

Summary
This study tests whether starting a stronger, six-week treatment plan early can help people with bipolar depression who did not get better with their first medication. About 418 adults will either receive the intensified treatment or continue with standard care. The goal is to see if early action leads to better symptom control and remission.
