Does when you take your insulin change where fat goes?
NCT ID NCT07172672
Summary
This study aims to understand how the timing of mealtime insulin affects where dietary fat is stored in the body for people with type 1 diabetes. Researchers will compare taking insulin 20 minutes before a meal, 20 minutes after, or skipping it altogether. They will use special scans to measure fat storage in different organs in 10 participants to see if timing makes a difference.
