Could a tiny port replace daily insulin pokes for pregnant women?

NCT ID NCT07165327

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether using an injection port — a small device placed on the skin — helps pregnant women with diabetes take their insulin more regularly and feel more satisfied with their care. About 44 participants will try both the port and traditional single-use needles. The goal is to see if the port reduces missed doses and improves comfort.
