Summary

This study aimed to find out which of two different methods for calculating insulin doses works better for controlling blood sugar after meals in children with type 1 diabetes. Researchers enrolled 76 children who had been using an insulin pump for at least three months. They compared how well each calculation method managed blood sugar levels in the hours after eating a mixed meal.
