New catheter could restore blood flow fast in stroke emergencies

Summary

This study tests a new device called the iNstroke catheter to remove blood clots from the brain in people having a stroke. About 160 adults will be treated within 24 hours of symptoms starting. The goal is to see if the catheter can safely reopen blocked blood vessels and improve recovery.
