New drug cocktail aims to boost immune attack on lung cancer

Summary
This study tests two drug combinations for people with a specific genetic form of advanced lung cancer (EGFR-mutant NSCLC). One group gets a new drug (amivantamab) plus a targeted pill (lazertinib) as their first treatment. The other group gets amivantamab plus chemotherapy after their cancer stopped responding to a previous targeted pill. The main goal is to see how these combos change the tumor's immune environment. About 80 adults will take part.
