First seen May 30, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special breathing exercise device can help ICU patients on ventilators regain strength in their breathing muscles and wean off the machine faster. The trial will include 45 adults who have been on a ventilator for at least 72 hours. If successful, this simple training could reduce time in the ICU and improve recovery.
