First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study aims to improve foot pain in people with rheumatoid arthritis by designing better insoles. Researchers will use CT scans and motion analysis to create a digital model of how the foot moves and where pressure occurs. Ten participants will be tested with and without standard insoles to find what makes them comfortable and reduces pain. The goal is to create a custom insole that is more effective than current options.
