First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study compares cricket protein (a sustainable insect protein) to whey protein (from milk) to see if they are equally effective at building muscle after exercise and over 12 weeks of resistance training. About 34 healthy adults who already lift weights regularly will take part. Researchers will measure muscle growth, strength, and cellular signals related to muscle building.
