First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study checked if people allergic to house dust mites and seafood are also sensitive to edible insects. 96 adults completed skin prick and blood tests. The goal was to see if insect sensitization is more common in this group compared to those with dust mite allergy alone. Results help understand cross-reactivity risks for new food sources.
