Summary
This study tested a program to help older patients (age 60+) with blood cancers plan their future medical care while they were in the hospital. 41 patients took part, and the program was found to be feasible, with most patients completing the planning session. The goal was to see if this approach could help patients document their wishes for care, such as choosing a healthcare proxy.
