Early trial explores regenerating the inner ear to restore hearing

NCT ID NCT07472023

Summary

This early-stage study aims to understand inner ear injuries and test new treatments that might help restore hearing or protect it from further damage. It will enroll 120 adults with hearing loss or tinnitus to undergo hearing tests and potentially try new regenerative approaches, like stem cell-based therapies. The main goal is to see if these experimental methods are safe and if they can improve hearing or reduce ringing in the ears.
