First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at whether reminding doctors about iron deficiency in hospitalized heart failure patients leads to more use of IV iron. About 3,000 adults with heart failure and low iron will be included. Doctors in one group get a notification with test results and treatment guidelines, while the other group follows usual care. The goal is to see if these reminders change treatment and improve patient health.
