New inhaler aims to boost oxygen in COPD patients

Summary

This study tests whether an inhaled medication called Treprostinil (Tyvaso) can help people with COPD who have low blood oxygen levels. Ten adults aged 40 and older will use the Tyvaso nebulizer four times daily for four weeks. Researchers will use special MRI scans and breathing tests to see if the drug improves oxygen delivery in the lungs.
