Breathe instead of inject? inhaled insulin tested for safer workouts
NCT ID NCT06880835
Summary
This study aims to see if using inhaled insulin for a meal is safer and works better than insulin delivered through a pump when people with type 1 diabetes exercise after eating. It will enroll about 30 adults who use a specific automated insulin pump system. Participants will complete three clinic visits where they exercise after a meal, each time using a different insulin method, to compare the risk of low blood sugar.
