Breathing in cancer treatment: new trial tests drug mist for lung tumors

NCT ID NCT03093909

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new way to give a cancer drug called gemcitabine—by breathing it in as a mist. The main goal is to find the highest safe dose for people whose solid tumors have spread to their lungs. Researchers will also closely monitor side effects and how the body handles the drug.
