Sniff test: can alcohol vapors ease migraine nausea?

NCT ID NCT05175521

Summary

This study is testing whether inhaling isopropyl alcohol vapors can reduce nausea during migraine attacks, compared to inhaling a diluted eucalyptus scent. Researchers are enrolling 50 adults who experience nausea with their migraines at least twice a month. The goal is to see if the alcohol vapors work better than the placebo scent at easing nausea and reducing the need for other anti-nausea medications.
