Summary
This study looks at whether changing the tubing that delivers medicine through a central line every 7 days is as safe as changing it every 4 days for ICU patients. About 2,830 adults in intensive care will take part. The goal is to see if the longer interval leads to more infections, while also reducing nurse workload and costs.
