Flu vaccine booster? study tests if supplement extends immunity in seniors

NCT ID NCT07357467

First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study follows up on 30 older adults (ages 60-70) who previously received a flu vaccine with either a supplement called TUDCA, fatty acids, or a placebo. Researchers want to see if TUDCA helped them maintain higher antibody levels and immune memory cells about 8 months after vaccination. No new treatments are given—just one blood draw to measure long-term immune response.
