First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study aimed to find out how often people come to the emergency room because of the flu, even when the flu isn't listed as the reason. Researchers tested over 2,400 adults visiting the ER during flu season to see how many actually had the flu. The results will help hospitals better prepare for future flu outbreaks.
