First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at whether simple blood tests can predict confusion after anesthesia in children having circumcision. Researchers will check inflammation markers in the blood of 140 children aged 2-12 before surgery and see if those with higher levels are more likely to be confused when they wake up. The goal is to find a simple way to identify kids at risk.
