Blood test may predict who benefits from targeted cancer therapy

Summary
This study looks at whether a score based on two common blood markers (CRP and albumin) can predict if a patient's tumor will shrink or stop growing after Lu-177 treatment. About 150 adults with advanced intestinal neuroendocrine tumors will be followed for 3 years. The goal is to find a simple way to identify who is most likely to respond to this therapy.
