Blood test may predict success of targeted radiation for gut tumors

Summary
This study looks at whether a score based on two common blood markers (CRP and albumin) can predict how well patients with advanced intestinal neuroendocrine tumors respond to a type of radiation therapy called Lu-177 oxodotreotide. Researchers will follow 150 patients for 36 months to see if the score matches actual tumor shrinkage or growth. The goal is to find a simple way to identify who will benefit most from this treatment.
